Update to Lucky's Supermarket Deal... $1.50 off Pamper's coupons

This week at Lucky's when you buy 4 Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Trix or Cinnamon Toast Crunch you pay just $1.49 a piece. With the printables available for $.50/1 and $1/2 that makes each box just $.99cents. The bonus to this is that on the box of Cheerios there is a coupon for $1.50 off Pampers and it doesn't expire until 2013. If Pampers are something that you need this is a great way to get Cheerios for under a buck and $1.50 off coupons too. Check your local store to see if they have the Cheerios with the coupon on the box. Mine had plenty to go around.

Early Writing for Little Hands e-Book...

School Sparks is offering a FREE eBook called “Early Writing for Little Hands.”  The ebook is all about teaching your young child how to write. I love it because you don't have to print the whole thing at once. Open the pdf and read the first few pages about how to help your child learn to write and then choose the pages you want to print. I started like they say to with B and printed those a few times and once we've mastered B we'll move on from there. Great way to help your child get a great start for school.

I Love Fresh & Easy...

I love Fresh & Easy!!! I went for the first time yesterday and I can't believe how impressed I am with everything. Before I left for the store my hubby said "I want to BBQ Hot Links for Dinner." I wasn't planning on buying Hot Links, no coupons, no sale, no purchase. And I wanted to BBQ chicken anyway. So things were looking down for dinner already. Then I arrived at Fresh & Easy and in the meat cold case what did I see? To my surprise a prepackaged tray with Sausage Links and Chicken and Burgers!!! I couldn't believe it. 4 Links, 4 Burgers, 4 Thighs and 4 Drumsticks. More than enough to feed my family of 7. So what's the cost right? I was sure it was more than I would be willing to spend on a last minute unplanned purchase, with no coupon. To my surprise it was $9 and change. Oh yeah I'm gonna get this. The chicken was marinated, the burgers BBQ'd well with very little shrinkage and the links were super tasty. If you have a Fresh & Easy in your area I would recommend checking it out. I was pleasantly surprised. And if you sign up for email notifications they will send you coupons, my first was $6 off $30. And when I walked in the door I was handed two more coupons for $5 off (because of Union protestors trying to Unionize the workers...) Prices were competitive on other necessities too like Milk gallons for $2.99, O.J. gallons $4.49, bagged produce $.98 each. Now not everything is the best priced, some are way over what I would spend at another grocery store like Safeway or Nob Hill but lots of things are Fresh & Easy brands and are great deals. Also there are no cashiers, you have to self checkout no biggie to me. So if you don't mind buying Fresh & Easy brands and checking your self out then I would definitely find a Fresh & Easy near you and check it out.
